Mattel is the world’s largest, publicly traded (MAT) toy company with net sales in 2010 of $5.8Billion

That’s a lot of Ken and Barbie Dolls.

What Are Fijit Friends Yippits?

The general public first laid eyes on the Fijit Friends Yippits back in February 2012 at the American Toy Fair in New York City. These adorable little things are a soft skinned interactive toy your child is sure to enjoy.

These guys are the upgrade of the Fijit Friends released in 2011. Like their older cousins, the Yippits are ready to hit the scene just in time for Christmas 2012.

As mentioned earlier, this is an interactive toy in that it is able to learn basic commands your child will have to teach it. To get your Yippit in a mood to learn, the first thing we’re going to have to do other than unbox it is to attach its tail.

Once done, your Fijit friend is ready to learn all sorts of fascinating and amusing tricks that include sitting, spinning about and singing and dancing. When you’re really ready to get physical, you new pet can learn to do push up. Oh, let’s not forget the always popular begging. What good is a pet that won’t beg?

All of these tricks or responses are initiated by a simple clap or series of claps.  The big thing with collectible toys, interactive toys or plush toys is they are available in several different flavors or types to encourage additional sales I suppose.

The Fijit Friends Yippits are no exception to this model.  Please allow me to introduce the Yippits. They are:

Things You Would Like About Fijit Friends Yippits

The interactive nature of this toy is sure to be a hit with you as well as your child. They’re small fairly soft and of course cut. Oh, I’m sure you’ll like the fact these comes with batteries included.

Things I Didn’t Like About Fijit Friends Yippits

Price.. As of this writing, the Fijit Friends Yippits will set you back around $34.97(Amazon.Com) each. I’ve seen a little  higher, I’ve seen little  lower.

Hot Toy Alert–This toy has the potential to find itself in short supply as the Christmas holiday gets closer. My advice would be to buy this toy sooner rather than later. Once supplies begin to dwindle or are made to appear to dwindle, prices can only go up.

Are The Fijit Friends Yippits Worth The Money?

Are they worth the money? To me, sitting with a little extra change in my pocket this year (Thank You Dave Ramsey for showing me the light and showing me how much I can save by skipping Starbucks), the answer is yes!

If my Christmas budget were a little tighter, I would probably skip the Yippits in favor of one or two smaller toys for the same money.

This toy is geared for the 8 and up crowd and comes with the standard choke hazard warning.
