Things You Would Like About The Oregon Scientific Meep Tablet For Kids

This tablet allows your child access to the internet and all the scary crap it has to offer. Good thing Meep also gives you, the parent the opportunity to set limits on what can be seen and accessed through built in parental control software.

I know I rail on about video games and the need for real physical toys but there comes a time when it’s too cold, too wet or the kids just need to sit still, be quiet for extended periods of time such as on a plane trip (don’t forget it’s WI-FI enabled) to Grandma’s.

The Meep Tablet does just that while providing some semblance of learning through a library of books and apps.

Things I Didn’t Like About Oregon Scientific Tablet For Kids

My only complaint is the system seems to load a little slow as compared to adult based tablets on the market today. The flip side to that is if I wanted a child to have a fully functioning tablet, I would buy them one.

 Who Would Like This Toy

Kids up to 8 in my humble opinion would like this tablet. As kids are more advanced these days, children older than 8 may get bored rather fast with the Meep.
