Shoulder Fun USA LLC, established in 2008 in Parkland Florida is the creators of the little critters known as Shoulder Buddies. According to the company’s site, the buddies were created with input from family, friends and professionals from several walks of life including firefighters.

What Are Shoulder Fun USA Shoulder Buddies?

Shoulder Buddies are little one inch high collectible creatures your kids would love to have and wear while out and about. As with other Christmas 2012 toys, Shoulder Buddies do more than just entertain.

Each buddy basically is smart and is ready to share those smarts with other. To that end, each of the gang comes with a little “smart card” that tells the world what they’re about and tips on getting along in the world in a positive fashion.

A few examples of Shoulder Buddies values are:

• Biffle-(Friendship Smarts) No, not Greg Biffle of NASCAR fame, this Biffle shares important friendship tips with your child. I reckon Greg shares friendship tips but we’re a Jimmie Johnson home.
• Blaze– (Fire Safety Smarts) Blaze share very important fire safety tips that could save your child & family’s lives in the event of a fire.
• Breeze (Frustration Smart) Breeze’s tips are very helpful to your child when he/she experiences frustrations.
• Eco (Conservation Smarts) Eco shares practical tips that preserve the environment and your wallet such saving energy, “turn off that light if you’re not using it.”
• Giggles (Laughter Smarts) Laughter is the best medicine, Breeze shares tips on how cool belly busting laughter can be.

Things I Didn’t Like About Shoulder Fun USA Shoulder Buddies

As mentioned above these babies are collectibles. There are quite a few versions of the buddies out there today. Buy one, and you could find yourself buying quite a few more to complete a set. Good thing they’re cheap.

Who Would Like This Toy?

Kids 4 and up would love these fun loving creatures. I can envision adults liking these as well. Why not, I have one on my desk at work, given as a prize in one of those all day training sessions many of us get roped into.

In case you were wondering my Shoulder Buddy cube mate is “Goal.”  Goal teaches us to:

• Practice improves your skill

• Teams work together
