Lego Star Wars Imperial Shuttle (10212)

Company Profile:

The LEGO Toy Company established and based in Denmark in 1932 was founded by Ole Kirk Christiansen. The name LEGO is a combination of two Danish words, Leg and Godt. Combined these words mean play well.

Thanks to the cool building sets this company has produced, many kids have learned what it means to play well. LEGO is a worldwide phenomenon, retail locations dedicated to LEGO toys can be found across the globe.  Even more impressive are the LEGO land parks which can be found in California and Florida in the US.

What Lego Star Wars Imperial Shuttle (10212)?

The Lego Star Wars Imperial shuttle is a detailed model of the Lambda Class Imperial Shuttle first seen (in the original versions) the final Star War episode, The Return of The Jedi.

Like the other Lego Star Wars sets, this shuttle is incredible in its detail and design. Created by a master toy maker who actually sat down and watched the movie several times, after he was satisfied with the motions of the craft, he then poured over photos of the original models(remember this is a back in the day movie when they used actual stuff like models and not computers)diagrams to get it right.

Things You Would Like About Lego Star Wars Imperial Shuttle (10212)

The Lego Star Wars Imperial Shuttle is one of Lego’s smaller Star Wars models making it a set  you can engage in hands on play if you choose or display on an included model stand or better yet, on the landing gear that come with the craft.

Things I Didn’t Like About Lego Star Wars Imperial Shuttle (10212)

This model behaves in a fashion similar to the movies meaning the wings can be extended for flight mode or retracted for docking maneuvers.

This action is possible through a key/crank configuration. I’m not sure if it’s my big hands but the action was a little clunky, in the hands of a little one, caution should be observed or you’ll have a shuttle crash on your hands.

No worries however, the easy to understand instructions will make repairs quick and fund.

Who Would Like This Toy

True Star Wars fans and their off spring will love this set. The Imperial Shuttle set is not too big, not to small, it’s just right for a child’s solo construction efforts.

Suggested age for this model is 16. Of course you know your kids better than anyone else.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
