LEGO Star Wars Death Star (10188) Review

Company Profile:

The LEGO Toy Company established and based in Denmark in 1932 was founded by Ole Kirk Christiansen. The name LEGO is a combination of two Danish words, Leg and Godt. Combined these words mean play well.

Thanks to the cool building sets this company has produced, many kids have learned what it means to play well. LEGO is a worldwide phenomenon, retail locations dedicated to LEGO toys can be found across the globe.  Even more impressive are the LEGO land parks which can be found in California and Florida in the US.

  • A Death Star would cost $15.6 septillion (1.4 trillion times the US national debt) to build
  • The first Death Star took twenty one years to complete.
  • The second Death Star only took four years to complete
  • Diameter of the first Death Star 160KM(99.4 Miles)
  • Diameter of the second Death Star 900KM(559 Miles)

Who Would Like This Toy

Suggested age for this Death Star is 14 years old. I believe that’s based on a solo construction project however.  This set is perfect for anyone who has a keen mind for detail, enjoys details and loves to work with their hands.
